FAQ¶
General¶
Is this blockchain? Crypto? No tokenomics. The registry is a regular database with cryptographic proofs; blockchain (Polygon, SBT passports) is an additional circuit for on-chain attestations. Money moves over banking rails (SBP and national systems).
Does NDP replace RAOS/WIPO-type OCUs? No. The protocol claims no right to alienate rights and no monopoly — it is a technology layer for identification and settlement, compatible with existing institutions (DDEX ERN import).
What about personal data? 152-FZ: personal data stays in Russian infrastructure; only cryptographic commitments (hashes) leave the perimeter, never raw data.
Depositing¶
How is this different from registering with an OCU? Speed, machine verifiability and derivative coverage: the fingerprint links sample chains automatically. But it is not a legal monopoly — it is priority and evidence, not exclusive rights.
Can I deposit a remix of someone else's track? Yes — that's the core scenario. You set the parent ISRC and share; the cascade routes payouts. The legal basis for using the sample remains your agreement with the original rights holder.
What if two people deposit the same thing? The second record with the same fingerprint won't pass the anti-plagiarism gate: the oracle says "same track" and priority stays with the earlier timestamp.
Passport¶
Why a 48-hour quarantine? A buffer for indie-KYC checks and mass-registration protection. When it expires, the passport becomes ready to activate (press it in the cabinet).
Can I skip the passport? Yes: depositing and verification are open to everyone. The passport is needed for the full identity circuit (device keys, agent mandates, scene audit).
Technical¶
What happens to my file on verify.html? Nothing. The fingerprint is computed in the browser (WASM); only the 256-byte fingerprint is sent.
How accurate is ADNA? 96% of "copy vs original" pairs are recognized on the full corpus; foreign tracks separate confidently (median similarity 0.63–0.67 at a 0.75 threshold). Live acoustic recordings are harder — calibration continues.
Is there an API? Yes: REST for the registry, MCP for AI agents, CLI for batch processing. Details — Developers.
